INTERNATIONAL STANDARDConforming with ISO2858 Standard means dimensionalinterchangeability with other makes of pumps, manufacturedto the same international standard, however because ofdesign superiority Southern Cross “Star-Line” Motorpumpsexceed the performance standard.

Special design features of Southern Cross“Star-Line” Motorpumps include the use ofstandard off-the-shelf foot and flanged electricmotors with highly accurate clamp on shaftextensions; taper mounted and keyedimpeller for easy removal from shaft duringservicing and positive locking duringoperation; heavy duty stainless steel shaftextension for safe operation at high speed;AS1830/T260 cast iron volute for addedsafety; reusable “O” ring body seal;hydraulically and dynamically balancedimpellers; and highly efficient suctionperformance from double curvature impellervanes.

Type 316 stainless steel shaft extension;S.G. cast iron motor shaft clamp; TEFC IP55motor; rugged cast iron volute with integralsuction and discharge flanges and mountingfeet; pressure rated to 1600kPa (160 metreshead); cast iron impeller and backplate;stainless steel impeller nut; rigid cast ironbell housing connects motor and pumphousing; and single mechanical seal.

Zinc-free bronze impeller and Molybondcoating.
