Established in the year 2010, Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh is one of the leading technical institutions of the region and is responsible for producing top-grade engineers with skill sets comparable with the best in the world. It also renders the testing and consultancy services to the neighboring industries and various other agencies. This institution is affiliated to government engineering college of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, India and approved by AICTE. The institute offers B. Tech. course in Civil Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. It offers Ph. D. in the aforesaid disciplines and also in Applied Science & Humanities. The REC, Azamgarh has signed MOU with MHRD and World Bank for TEQIP-III. The faculty is well qualified with vast experience in various fields of Mechanical Engineering. The department has indulged in guiding several research projects of B. Tech students. Faculty members are trying to have collaborations with reputed leading Universities/Laboratories/Institutes around globe. The department and labs are well equipped with modern equipments.

REC Startup Summit is a flagship initiative of Industry Institution Partnership Cell

and Mechanical Engineering Department, Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh, UP.

It is intended to build a strong ecosystem for nurturing innovation and Startups while

also empowering them through design, networking, collaboration and funding

opportunities. The purpose of this summit is to drive sustainable economic growth and

generate large scale employment opportunities. The summit will be a throughout the

week events and activities bringing together Startups, Corporate houses, Students,

Institutions and entrepreneurs.

The Summit will initiate a number of ambitious programs viz

MISSION FOR GROWTH UP 2020 THROUGH STARTUP UP India is an ethno linguistic cultural heritage melting pot, which is expected to rise to a population year by year. This population is equivalent to any developed modern states of European Union. Hence REC Azamgarh UP-Technological Educational Institution is starting this initiative of GROWTH UP 2020, when this population will start at least 1000+ internationally recognized start-ups raising at least $450 million in funding to create massive 3.5 million direct and indirect world class employment in the region, while raising the standard of living and giving technical and financial empowerment to all.

MISSION WOMAN FOUNDER THROUGH STARTUP Women have been the core of household management and networking from time immortal and women from Uttar Pradesh have been especially leading the way in business management and entrepreneurship. “MISSION WOMAN FOUNDER” is another flagship program of REC Azamgarh UP-Technological Educational Institution to not only empower woman of Uttar Pradesh but also have at least 40% of woman in CXO positions in the next 1000+ internationally recognized start-ups.

Registration form in the prescribed format approved/sponsored by competent authority should reach

to the Convener Mr. Vijay Kumar/ Dr. Rajesh Singh on or before August 30, 2018. There is registration

fee for participants from AICTE approved institutions (Except REC, Azamgarh) through demand draft

Rs.500/- in favour of “Director, Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh” payable at Azamgarh or

Participants may also pay registration fees in account number-31581064314 at State Bank of India,

Lalganj, Azamgarh (IFSC Code- SBIN0001165). Advance registration is mandatory for everyone. For

Industry professionals, the registration fee is Rs. 1000/- per person in the form of demand draft. List of
