Message from VicarDearly Beloved in Christ,Greetings of Christmas in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ!I am indeed happy to greet you all through this parish bulletin. It is a great waiting to celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christmas is remembered for God’s giving of himself in Jesus Christ- God’s inexpressible gift (2Cor.9:15). As St. Paul wrote, “You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though he was
rich, he became poor for your sake so that through his poverty you might become rich” (2Cor.8:9). The real meaning of Christmas will come to us when we recognize the need of the other. I appreciate and thank the parish members for the whole hearted support given to the activities held last month;1. Parish Convention: We are thankful to Very Rev. C. A. Varghese for his inspirational messages.
The prayer group members led the singing session very well. Many could come forward and praise the Lord with shout of joy. More children may participate next time.
2. Family Day and One day Income: Though around 230 families attended, I am concerned of the absentees.
3. Agape Family Fellowship: It is good at the sight of God that we are one in Christ by mutual and abiding fellowship. Let us uphold each other in prayer for a healthy family relation. A home builder’s slogan goes like this, “I can build you a house, but you will have to make it a home.”
4. Madhbaha Balakar: We have 5 boys who are totally committed for the ministry of the Church. There are many young lads who can involve in it and lead their life along with the church activities. They have started off with preparing Friday Sermons. I will try to see its compilation for the use of many. Let more children come forward to the leadership with commitment.
5. Diocesan Collection: Parish members could contribute to the diocesan mission activities around Rs.22Lakhs from 285 families. Mission is God’s and we too are His. Therefore we belong to God and to His mission. May God bless you all for the support extended to the mission of the Diocese.

As we are coming closer to the end of this year, we should be grateful to God for all the blessings we have experienced for the past one year. May the New Year bring you more peace and happiness in your life. May the Spirit of God empower our parish and all our family members to be peace makers and agents of transformation. May the grace of God be sufficient for the New Year and direct your lives and strengthen your minds to do His will.

This year’s parish convention was held from 27th to 30th October, 2014 at St. Thomas Centre. The main speaker for the convention was Very. Rev. C. A. Varghese, Vicar General, Delhi Diocese. The singing session for every meeting was lead by all the Prayer Groups. The meetings were also blessed with the presence of Rev. Samji K. Sam, Rev. C. V. Symon, Rev. V. S. Skariah and Rev. Santhosh Philip.

Family Day was observed in our Parish on 31st, October. Delhi diocese Vicar General, Very. Rev. C. A. Varghese and our Vicar, Rev. Sunil Joy celebrated the Holy Communion service. All families submitted their one day’s income to the Lord.
WORLD SuNDAY SCHOOL DAY
World Sunday School Day was celebrated on 14th November, 2014 at the NECK premises. Kuwait Centre Mar Thoma Sunday School President, Rev. Sunil Joy gave the Presidential address and Rev.Santhosh Philip, Vicar St. Peter’s MTC delivered the inaugural message. A total of 25 students from our Sunday School presented a musical play based on the theme “God Cares for You”. Also, 19 students from our Sunday school were awarded with gifts for scoring 75% and above for the Birudu exam conducted on December, 2013. The program concluded with a rally of the children shouting praises to the Almighty!
