Are you wasting your time looking for the material comforts of the world? Or, is your heart longing for some-thing deeper that can only be found by spending time with God? Take time, each day, in silence and ask the Lord what it is that He wants you to do. Nursing Home Gifts Much Appreciated A big thank you to all parishioners who participated in the Good Sa-

maritan Giving Tree project at Christmas time. Your generosity and thoughtfulness brought great joy to all the recipients. May your giving hearts be abundantly blessed!JoAnne Ranstrom Dear Members of Sts. Peter & Paul, Thank you so much for the gifts you so gen-erously gave to our residents for Christ-

mas. The residents enjoyed each and every one of them. God Bless & Keep You in the New Year. Renee Davis, North Star Manor Activity Department “Thank You” to everyone who helped make the Christmas Season in our parish so special again this year. Many people assisted in so

many ways; including Sister Marguerite, Kinzie, Emma and the cantors and the choir for leading us in song; the sacristans and altar servers, lectors, commentators, ushers, gift presenters, and the extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion. Also, thank you to all those who contributed to-

wards the Christmas flowers, and to JoAnne Ranstrom for arranging and taking such good care of them. The generous donations for the Christmas flowers help make the altar area so beautiful. Last, but not least; thank you to all of you who answered the call for help in the very beginning of the decorating process, and to all those who stayed after Mass last weekend to help take down the decora-tions and get them all put away again. Your help and enthusiasm are so much appreciated. May God bless each and every one of you dur-ing this new year.
