Student Ministry-Take a Turkey
A HUGE thank you to all that donated food to the
youth for our Take a Turkey event. We were able to
provide food for 14 families! Praise God!

FIRST FRIENDS KIDS NEWS...
December 9 – Kid’s Christmas Musical – 6:00pm December 19 – Happy Birthday Jesus! Party – 6:00-7:30pm
Grades 1-4 will have a Bible story, make a Christmas craft, play Christmas games, and have birthday cake and ice cream
The Warehouse – Grades 5-6 – will go skating at Mannings on Wheels in Beaumont. They will leave at 5:30pm.
Cost is $10 and a permission form is required. January 9 – Bible Drill Competition Team Meeting – for kids and parents of kids in grades 4-6 who are interested in being on the Bible Drill Competition 2019 Team.
July 21-24, 2019 – Kid’s Camp – Lake Tomahawk, Livingston, TX Camp is for kids entering grades 5-6 (currently in grades 4-5)
Camp deposit of $50 is due by January 27, 2019. Parents – this would be a great Christmas present for your kid! Come summer, you’ll be so glad they have
something to do (haha).
REMINDER: Our special called Church Family
meeting will be Sunday, December 2, 2018 after
the evening service.
Motions:1. The Church Properties committee moves to
have the Jones Activity Campus HUB building coated
with two coverings of sealant at an approximate
cost of $8500.
2.The Church Properties committee moves to have the
carpet and tile from the Jones Activity Campus
Great Room removed at an approximate cost of
$6,000. Additional recommendation will come
following appraisal of the floor once uncovered and
assessed.
3.Budget/Finance committee moves the funds for
motions 1&2 be taken from the Specials- Vision to
Victory (V2V -809040) line item.
4. Budget/Finance committee moves the monthly 2%
currently deposited into the Specials- ESCROW
Reserve Fund (809095) be redirected into the
Specials- ESCROW-New A/C fund (809096) starting in
January 2019 until that fund reaches $25,000.
Your financial gifts to the Vision to Victory account are important in making sure we are able to complete a number of
capital improvements to our facilities. Please mark your gifts as V2V.
The Church office will be closed Wednesday, November 21-Friday, November 23 in order for our staff to spend the holiday with their
