SRISA Florence, Italy RIT Affiliate Program Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA) is one of the top art and design schools in Italy. Located in Florence, the campus has extensive studio facilities for painting, drawing and printmaking; photography labs and darkroom; and large lecture rooms. All courses are taught in English with semester and summer programs offered. Students studying at SRISA will also participate in extra-curricular activities, art exhibits, field trips, cultural seminars and museum visits. DESIGN IN DESSAU Dessau, Germany Exchange Program, Spring Semester The RIT School of Design has partnered with Fachhochschule Anhalt (FHA) in Dessau, Germany to offer junior design majors in Graphic Design, Industrial Design or New Media the opportunity to study in Germany during spring semester. Students take four studio-based courses and live in the charming town of Dessau, about 1 1/2 hours from Berlin by train. Students do not need to be fluent in German. I was able to have the unique opportunity to explore and play with unfamiliar materials, processes, and pracces and the ability to use these techniques to create and build in new ways upon my return.
