Study Island in 3 rd Grade What is Study Island? Study Island is an all online product designed to help your child master the state standards specific to their grade level. The program is divided into sections based on subjects. Each subject is made up of topics, and each topic contains lessons, practice questions, and explanations. We will be using Study Island throughout the year both in school and at home for ELA and Math.     What is Study Island? Study Island is an all online product designed to help your child master the state

    standards specific to their grade level. The program is divided into sections based on subjects. Each subject is made up of topics, and each topic contains lessons, practice

    questions, and explanations.

    We will be using Study Island throughout the year both in school and at home for ELA and Math. If you do not have computer/Internet access, please let us know so we can

    send home the paper version of the assignments.

    How Do I Access Study Island at Home??

    1. Go to www.studyisland.com

    2. Click Log In in the top right corner

    3. Click the Login Button under Study Island for schools - option on the Right Side

  • 4. Enter your username and password a. Your User Name is na and your NA ID Number (Lunch/Library Number)

    Example: na222222 b. Your password is tigers (all lowercase)

    5. Click on whatever class you have an assignment in (Math or ELA)

    6. Click on the assignment you were assigned. It always shows the due date – so that will be helpful in deciding which assignment needs to be completed. This example shows a math assignment on Money

    7. You might want to click the blue word Lesson first – this will review the skills covered in the assignment, but it is not required.

    8. Click on Start Studying

    a. Make Sure PRACTICE MODE is green b. Set the Number of Questions to whatever is specified in the assignment

    directions (typically between 10-15, but always double check) c. Hit Next to Begin

  • 9. When you finish your assignment click GO THROUGH MISSED to review what you missed

    10. After you are done, hit END SESSION

    11. Your Score will Appear – You can either try again (totally optional) or hit Return to Main

    12. Now you can log out

    You do not need to bring any papers to school – We can check if you did it online! J
