What to include
USE A CHECKLIST Cover letter Hard copy Electronic copy Signatures from all authors Address, email, phone number, and
fax for corresponding author
Final copy: Title page
1) Include title and authors2) Running title (shorter version with a
limited number of characters)3) Include contact information for the
corresponding author4) Include affiliation and addresses for each
author
Final copy: Abstract
Include list of key words (3 to 10)Example key words: malaria, PCR, drug
resistance, chloroquine, sulfadoxine, pyrimethamine.
Final copy: Figures
– Each on its own separate page– Do not include the figure title or legend on
that page– Just label the figure by its #, for example
“Figure 1” – Put the figure legends together on their
