SUMMER PROGRAMS 2016 ttKANAKUK KAMPOUT

KANAKUK KAMPOUT Kanakuk is coming to LRCA ….again!!

DATE: JUNE 6-10, 2016

GRADES ENTERING: K-6th grade

TIME: 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM

PLACE: LRCA Campus - Athletic Training Center

FEE: $235

Snacks will be provided. Kampers bring their own lunch.

Kanakuk Kamps are non-denominational Christian camps.

They have been providing exciting summer adventures

with kids since 1926.

Kanakuk is partnering with Little Rock Christian Academy

to offer Kampers one of the greatest weeks on earth....

right here on our LRCA campus! Kampers will be able to

enjoy traditional Kanakuk activities such as water slides,

climbing walls, ziplines, crafts, octa-ball, dodge ball,

ultimate 4 square, field games, relays, archery and team

sports. Every day’s events ring with the message that each

life has a purpose. The daily schedule will include skits and

devotionals, and then a K-Life worship time wraps up the

day! Kampers learn from counselors that it’s fun to be a

Christian. Each counselor knows that every moment the

Kampers are watching, they are taking home a picture of

what it means to follow hard after Christ.

Speaking of counselors, Kamp Out will be staffed with

Kanakuk’s kid-loving, Christian staff. All have previous

Kanakuk experience or are newly hand-picked from over

300 colleges. They are all carefully interviewed, chosen for

excellence, and trained to provide world-class mentoring

to your child. Snacks will be provided. Kampers bring their

own lunch. A Kanakuk Director couple will also be on-site.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity.

Sign up is available ONLY at www.kanakuk.com.

ECONOMICS/PERSONAL FINANCE/GRADUATION CREDIT:

Would you like to get your entire semester of Econ and online graduation credit completed in 3 weeks? Then this is the course for you. Summer Econ covers all of the same material that is described in your Academic Handbook within the same amount of hours in this 3 week, 60-hour session. That frees you up during the school year to take extra AP’s, electives, the arts, or to be in band, choir, drama, athletics etc. While Econ is limited to upperclassmen during the regular school year, the summer course is open to all HS students 9-12, since you are able to focus on just one subject without all of the course load and extracurriculars you have in the regular school year. Please email me if you have any questions or would like references of those who have completed this summer course in the past. The summer course is a fun activity based way to complete 2 of your graduation requirements. Grab a friend or 2 to take this with you and sign up. I look forward to having you.
