RAY’S REMARKS: What a beautiful Lord’s day we had to-gether this past Sunday. Outside the snow was falling and blanket-ing the earth with its glory and inside we had a great number presentto worship God in spirit and truth. What a truly magnificent day it was.
I was actually surprised at the many who were able to make itlast Sunday. A lot of times bad weather scares folks and keeps themfrom getting out, but that was not the case Sunday morning. Anddespite the cold weather and wind it was a wonderful day all the wayaround. Anyway, how blessed we all are in this life in both physicaland spiritual things. I hope we all realize just how great we have it.
Well, the students had their final exam this week at the BIM. Iknow there is a lot of stress and worry during this time of theirschooling, however they are all doing well. I remember well suchtimes in my own education. What a relief it was to have all my finalsand all end of the quarter assignments done. Then you could startdreading the next quarter !
Please keep in mind that this coming Sunday is a 5Th SUNDAY.We always have the opportunity on 5th Sundays to lay a little extraback to help with special needs. Remember that this month we areneeding to make up for budget shortfalls. Until last Sunday, we wereabout $1800 down for the year, but after last Sunday and the snow weare about $2500 down! Also any moneys above that will go towardsome needed improvements in our fellowship hall kitchen. I hope wewill all do our part and give God our very best.
Finally, let me encourage us all to get a prayer list and to checkthe bulletin for those of our number with special prayer request. Wealways have a lot of prayer needs as the family of God so let’s all doour part to make sure that these petitions stay before the throne ofGod. “Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks!”
Well, I hope to see most of you at our midweek service tonight.I also hope you all have a great remainder of the week and weekend. What a blessing it will be to assemble again as God’s people thiscoming Lord’s day. Until then, may God bless us all as we strive toput Him first and do His Perfect Will.

ELDERS CORNER:Greetings from the elders at K.E.~ This weather is crazy, but it is the waythe Lord has planned, so we don’t need tocomplain because He knows best. This holiday weekend is generallyplanned for family gatherings so we will nothave our scheduled 5th Sunday potluck. Hopeeveryone enjoys the day. We had a great lesson on Sunday aboutmechanical music in the worship service. Raydid a sermon explaining why we do not usemechanical music in our services. We want all the men, if possible toattend the men's fellowship and breakfast onthe second Saturday at 8 A.M. Please setaside one hour a month for this work whichthe elders approve. Brother Bill & Wesley areoutstanding cooks. Please plan to help this week with the5th Sunday contribution to offset first ofthe year shortages and to do some improve-ments in the fellowship hall. We look forward to seeing all on Sundayat 9:30.
