Step 1

Thread your needle with 1.5 yards of beading

Leaving a 4-inch tail, string 1A, 3B, 1A and 3B.

Step 2

Go through the first A strung to form a circle.

Step 3

Go through the next 3B and 1A.

Step 4

String 3B, 1A and 3B.

Pass through the A from the side opposite where

your thread is exiting.

Step 5

Continue through the following 3B and 1A.

Step 6

Repeat Steps 4 and 5 nine more times for a total of

eleven units.

Step 7

Now you will connect the last unit to the first.

Exiting the final A, string 3B.

Pass through the first A in the first unit from the

same side your thread is exiting.

For example, if your thread is exiting the left side

of the A in the last unit, you will pass through the A

in the first unit from left to right (as shown in the

photo).

Step 8

String 3B and pass through the last A in the last

unit from the side opposite where you started in

Step 7.

lished one edge of the bezel.

Keep your tension tight in this step and the bead-

work will cup.

Attach a needle to the tail thread. Weave it into

the beadwork, tie several half-hitch knots and re-

move the excess.

Step 12

until you are exiting a centre B on the opposite

edge of the bezel.
