Support FixingsLindapter’s support fixing range offers a series of ideal solutions for all

building services. This includes the suspension of HVAC equipment,

pipe work, fire protection/sprinkler systems, suspended ceilings and all

manner of electrical equipment such as cable tray and ladder. These

products have all been designed to give speed and ease of installation

to reduce time and keep costs under control.

Where necessary support products have been tested, and approved,

by the relevant bodies such as those which oversee and insure fire

protection installations.

For the installation of heavy duty service equipment such as pipe

supports used in the petro chemical industry the steelwork fixings in

section 1 of this catalogue are more suitable.

General ApplicationsParallel Flanges only1. Locate FLS onto flange.

2. Ensuring lug on locknut locates into main body, tighten downsetscrew (Z), and then tighten upper locknut (N).

3. Install threaded rod by screwing into nut located in nut basket (S).Ensure full thread capture.

4. Secure assembly in nut basket (S) from beneath using a locknut(not supplied).

Ensure that the cup point setscrew always grips on thetapered side of the flange.

Installation 1. Slide FL onto beam flange and tighten setscrew torecommended torque. Guideline: tighten the setscrew fingertight and then apply a further quarter turn (90°) with spanner.

2. Tighten the locknut (N) to the recommended torque.

On tapered flanges the cup point setscrew has to grip on the inside of the flange.

Hole position for angled purlins

Inclined Purlin: The WFadjusts to whatever angle isrequired. Hole position is nota limiting factor on productinstallation.

Canted Purlins: As the angleof backwards cant increases,the maximum allowabledistance X (hole centre tobottom edge of purlin) mustdecrease.

Assemble with nut and ensurefull thread capture.

Squeeze legs of WFtogether and pushthrough hole until itsnaps into place.
