surgislush fully automated slush freezer unit
DESCRIPTION
The SurgiSlushTM Slush Freezer Unit is completely automated and operates like a conventional frost-free freezer. It chills two (2) slush compartments using essentially the same proven, safe, closed-cooling system found in commercial freezers. When the unit is powered on, clinical users simply insert two sealed sterile saline containers into the two chilling compartments. In Slush Mode, SurgiSlushTM utilizes C Change Surgical’s patented and fully automated cooling and agitating technology to produce multiple liters of soft, velvety saline slush (approximately 30-90 minutes depending on fluid volume, initial fluid temps, altitude, local humidity, etc.). SurgiSlushTM indicates to users via LED lights when slush cycle is complete. Per normal hospital protocols, users simply dispense slush from containers for clinical use. Soft, velvety surgical slush can be maintained in the unit in Maintenance Mode or kept in a separate refrigerator for hours.TRANSCRIPT

Fully Automated Slush Freezer Unit
PRINICIPLES OF OPERATION: AUTOMATED, SIMPLE & EASY
Soft, velvety surgical slush can be maintained in the unit in Maintenance Mode or kept in a sepa-rate refrigerator for hours.
Other than sterile fluid, no additional sterile products, sterile drapes, re-sterilization of drapes and basins or additional cooling media are required for use.
SurgiSLUSH TM
Reduce Risk of Unintended Contamination. Users create sterile slush inside sealed, secure sterile containers with no exposure to vulnerable slush drapes, open basins or any ambient, non-sterile environment prior to use.
Save Money. SurgiSlushTM entirely eliminates costly, vulnerable sterile drapes.
Increase Efficiency. SurgiSlushTM requires no set up for use. Users simply insert fluid containers and press Slush Mode button. No further action required.
Reduce Distractions. Increase Efficiency. SurgiSlushTM eliminates sterile slush work in the sterile field, as it requires no intraoperative maintenance by scrubbed personnel. No basin scraping or breaking up or chopping or pounding of solidified slush needed.
Flexibility. In “Maintenance Mode,” SurgiSlushTM maintains a perfect slush consistency inside the original fluid containers for hours through its patented control technology. Or finished slush containers can be transferred to a refrigerator and SurgiSlushTM can be used to produce endless liters of slush.
Save Money & Add Flexibility. For off-pump or hybrid cardiac cases SurgiSlushTM allows users to have slush ready for use without wasting a disposable product if slush is not used.
Save Space. SurgiSlushTM is mobile, non-sterile and can be placed where convenient (inside or outside the O.R.) for clinical use without taking up limited space in the sterile field.
