We welcome candidates who are:

Determined and motivated, with strong mental agility

Passionate about developing a long-term general management career with Swire

Interested in learning about – and working within – diversified businesses

An undergraduate or postgraduate of any discipline, graduating in 2016

Additionally, candidates must:

Possess an excellent command of written and spoken English, with a credit (Grade 4) or above in HKCEE English, CET Level 6, TEM Level 4 or an equivalent standard. Ability to read and write Chinese will be an advantage.

Have Right of Abode in Hong Kong SAR or PRC citizenship

Not have worked full-time for more than three years * Note: Interns who have the Right of Abode in Hong Kong and PRC, or overseas nationals who are eligible for employment in Hong Kong under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) policy, will be assigned to a Hong Kong-based project. Swire values individual career development. During my

internship in Shanghai, everyone understood I would only

be there for a very short period of time, but they trusted

me and I was given responsibility very quickly. I still

remember the business trip with my team to Ningbo,

which was my very first business trip. I was given the task

to set up the schedule, arrange transportation and hotel

accommodation, and prepare background briefings,

I really felt I had been given ownership of the project.

My journey in Swire began three and a half years ago as

a summer intern in Swire Properties. At that time, I did not

realise that this internship would bring me into this great

family along with a group of bright, talented people. I started

my internship programme with a two-day orientation in

Hong Kong, followed by seven-week on-the-job training

in the Office Leasing team of Taikoo Hui, Guangzhou.

The orientation introduced almost every division of Swire,

giving me a big picture of a dynamic company with a wide

range of career opportunities for years to come.

Interns will go through a comprehensive induction, and will then be posted to one of Swire’s operating companies, including but not limited to Swire Properties Limited or Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, to work on a specific business-related project in Hong Kong or Mainland China. Plus, after your internship, you will be given an opportunity for early selection into The Swire Group Staff Management Trainee Programme in 2016.
