From Top: Andrew Sixsmith, Mike Holmes, Mark Purvis and Martin Marshall address delegates during the morning session

The afternoon sessions were broken down into 4 workshops over 3 sessions so that delegates could attend their choice of 3. The workshops were designed to stimulate discussion and provide practical ideas and examples of trailblazing work.Workshop details:-

ImpactIt was important for us to try to ascertain what changes delegates might consider as a result of what they had heard and discussed at the event. The response to this question was both encouraging and a testimony to those who gave their time to the event to share good practice and their enthusiasm:-

We also asked what they were hoping to get from the event, and if this was achieved:-We asked them to list 3 objectives, and the responses were much the same for all:-

Next StepsPart of the SYBPCWG group’s responsibility is to bring together the workforce leads and enable joint working and sharing across the region. The learning from the event will be on the shared with the group to inform further initiatives. Some CCG’s have used the event as a starting point to develop local, similar events and these will also be supported. Where possible, the aim is to develop initiatives together and across boundaries and the event has been a very positive tool in getting the right people together to think about how to move forwards in this way.
