Tableau Public Author ProfilesHow to customize your profile page
To get started, login to your profile1. Click “Login”
2. Enter your credentials or create an account 3. Click “My Profile”

1. Add your profile pic Click on “Login” in the upper right
The profile pic is set to sync with the image you have uploaded to the gravatar.com account associated with your Tableau Public email address
If you don’t have a gravatar.com account, you can create one by clicking here. Follow the Gravatar instructions to upload a profile image, and your Tableau Public author profile will automatically show this image.
Editing the Gallery and My Featured Viz
Clicking on the “Edit Profile” button at the top of your screen will enable you to:
• Edit you bio and links
• Hide or Show workbooks from your profile
• Edit Workbook titles, permalinks and descriptions
• Choose a Featured Viz
2, 3 & 4: Customize your Header
Clicking on “Update Info” takes you to a page that will allow you to add a bio, tell us more about yourself, and provide links to your social media accounts and websites.

Click “Save” when done
5. Hide or Show a workbook
If you don’t want a visitor to your profile to see a workbook you’ve published, just unclick the check “Visible to others” checkbox
If you’ve hidden a workbook and want to show it on your profile, just click the empty check box
6. Change Workbook ThumbnailsThe default image shown for a viz in your profile matches that of the workbook at the time of upload.
If you don’t like what’s shown, edit the workbook and select the sheet or dashboard whose thumbnail you wish to use instead.

Click “Edit” on the workbook, then choose the sheet or dashboard whose image you
want to use
7. Modify Workbook Info
Click “Edit” in the upper right corner of any viz, and then edit the Title, Permalink (the website that appears behind the viz when a visitor clicks on it), and the Description.
Also choose whether sheets are shown as tabs, whether the footer toolbar appears in the viz, and if the byline should be included.
8. Choose a Featured Viz
After clicking on click “Choose” from the “My Featured Viz” section. Then choose the workbook you would like to feature.
