Rather than be overwhelmed by all the reports that work, and don’t work, in PowerSchool, you can save your “favorites.’’1). Opening “My Reports’’ gives you the start of the entiremenu.2). Click on “Edit List’’

3). When the menu populates, set the rows for 250 so that you can view the entire list without switching screens.4). Check the boxes of the reports you use most often (up to 20).5). After checking the boxes of the reports you selected, click “Apply’’ at the bottom right corner.

Favorites to consider

• Class Roster – Condensed: Need to find a student during the day? This report lists all students seen by a teacher during each period.• Daily Absence Report by Period:

Generates a list of absences for each period of each day. Good for making up back attendance.• LEP/FLEP Dates Report: Lists all ESOL

students• RCSD Elementary Report Card:

Generates cards for K-5 students

RCSD Secondary Report Card: Generates cards for Grade 6 thru Grade 12 studentsRCSD Grades Verification: Shows which students, by teacher and subject, are lacking gradesTeacher Class Roster Report: Great for sub teachers. Lists class period, students, and days of week with a signature line for attendance.

More favorites – Student Mailing Labels

• Go to All Reports/Student List Reports/Student Mailing Labels• Click and move the homerooms you

desire from the “Available’’ to the “Selected’’ category.• Tailor the “Options’’ so you get the

number of columns you desire. Note that the columns are synched to the specialty adhesive labels you can buy from an office supply store.

More favorites – Unsubmitted Attendance

• Go to All Reports / Attendance Reports / RCSD Unsubmitted Attendance Report by Teacher• Check on unsubmitted attendance

by setting a date range, and filtering the data by teacher name or classroom number.
