teachers Students requesting to make videos Discovered other tools to use them with Library using technique to post videos on
accessing online databases, email, etc
“The IPCinema videos on the website are
great! The first video was very useful in helping Jack learn the multiple step conversions. And the
video for the Test Review was really helpful also. I hope you can continue to post these videos because
they are a great learning tool!” - parent
Making training videos such how to use the website, login to the network, saving files
Other teachers now using Whiteboard videos in their classrooms
Newer tools to use Live online tutorials provided for
students Improvement of technique using
additional software
Future look includes interactive Flash quizzes that will be emailed to teacher automatically
Newer techniques – wireless tablets, Podcasting and Vodcasting of lessons, Picture in Picture
Goal for students to create on a daily basis
Create a Wiki of Integrated Physics and Chemistry with videos, notes, definitions, practice problems with solutions, etc
Through the use of Whiteboard videos, I see the
classroom being extended beyond the traditional classroom walls. Student will produce, collaborate, evaluate and post videos. This challenges the student to perform higher
level thinking skills while actively engaged in an activity they see as fun and
entertaining. Students actively participate in the learning process. What better way to get students to learn than to
actively create the content of the course?
Can you see a use for these tools at your campus?
What about Staff Development tools for training teachers to use Email, Gradebook, or to record Attendance?
Do you have a vision for the classroom of the future?
Please contact either one of us if you would like more information.
