The Coalition of Lifelong Learning Organizations (COLLO) serves as a resource to bring leaders of adult and lifelong learning together.

The coalition studies, evaluates, and makes recommendations concerning legislation concerning lifelong learning education.

COLLO also offers various support in the form of facilitating, financial support, legislation, administration, professional development, publications, research, and staffing to various lifelong learning educational groups ("COLLO," 2014).

COLLO works towards its goals through awareness building, advocacy, input on and support of state and national legislation.

The AAACUE commissions the following programs: Professors for Adult Education (CIAE) a forum important issues

related to adult education Program Management (CPM) provides information and

development training for adult and continuing education program managers.

Center for Workforce and Professional Development (CWPD) education program geared to increase, knowledge, career opportunities and development in workforce and continuing professional education

The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) aims to encourage all adults to engage in learning of all kinds.

NIACE is a membership organization, and their work is local, national and pan-European, across all types of learning including literacy and numeracy, digital, further/higher education, apprenticeships, workplace, community learning, leisure and citizenship. 

NIACE works on issues vital to the economic renewal of the UK

The UNESCO Institute for life long learning (UIL)is an international organization that addresses the need for indigenes in any community to be properly educated particularly; literacy and non formal education.

The UIL addresses the needs for continuous improvement in education by gearing activities towards Achieving the Education for ALL (EFA), and Millennium Development Goals (MDG) along with activities founded by the United Nations (UNLD) and objectivities of the International Conference on Adult Education (UNLD).

+UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning The UNESCO Institute for life long learning is based offers a

variety of programs; Lifelong Learning Policies and Strategies- This addresses

policies that if well taught can help developing countries become more comparable to the rest of the world.

Literacy and Basic Skills- This enables individuals to develop literacy and other non formal skills

Adult Learning and Education- This addresses the important task of Adult education in developing countries

Priority Africa- The UIL has a major focus on Africa and uses all skills necessary to help properly equip indigenes on the land about leadership, literacy and Adult Education. In fact the UIL intends to promote a new method for Adult Education based on the African style.

The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) links learning and work.

CAEL is a nonprofit organization that provides resources for all areas of higher education, public, and private sectors.

CAEL makes it easier and more convenient for everyone to et the education and training they need to be successful.

CAEL serves members, colleges & universities, employers and workforce development

The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) helps working adults return to school by giving them more access to: Adult friendly schools and classes Recognition for work and life experiences New ways to finance their education

CAEL assists older adults in securing meaningful work and attain economic security

CAEL recognizes breaking down barriers to learning requires ongoing learning, exploration and development
