Introduction• Our teams goal was to construct a roller
coaster that would have a 15 second ride.• Our materials were found at Ace Hardware,
Lowes, and scraps in the Estabrook work room.
• We bought 2 funnels, screws, a marble, and wood.

What Happens?• The marble is released into a series of PVC
pipes before falling into a shorter PVC pipe. This leads into a funnel where it spins and falls into the a final PVC pipe. Ultimately, the ball rolls into a final funnel and spins through it resulting in the marble landing on the ground.

Conclusion• Over all, we spent 4-5 hours building the
actual project.• Another 4-5 hours were spent on the paper,
calculations, and preparation for this presentation.
• Our group consisted of 5 future engineers.
