Megamax F1 or Novomax G2 EmaxABB SACE ha studied a special retrofi tting kit for Megamax F1 and Novomax G2. The kit grants the insertion of a complete Emax circuit-breaker in the Megamax or Novomax fi xed part with very light modi-fi cation of the switchgear.

Hybrid retrofi tting kit for air circuit-breakers with moulded-case circuit-breakers

For those plants which require a minimum downtime for upgrades, ABB SACE has studied special retrofi tting kits for the replacement of the older types of air circuit-breakers 800-1250-1600 A as Otomax and Novomax G30, with up-to-date moulded-case circuit-breaker type Isomax S7.This type of solution allows putting the new apparatus directly in the fi xed part of Otomax or Novomax G30 circuit-breakers. The easy installation can be made out directly by the customer with a very fast replacement.

Retrofi tting kits designed for old series moulded-case breakers save on the investment necessary for electrical equipment and require a minimum downtime for their installation.Generally made by adaptation plates for the corresponding terminals, retrofi tting kits for moulded-case circuit-breakers are fi tted for prompt insertion into the old breaker’s fi xed part. Under request and against technical verifi cation, retrofi tting kits for moulded-case circuit-breakers may be fi tted with adaptation plugs for auxiliary applications so that only minimal mechanical work has to be done on the panel door.
