Services: Preliminary and Detailed design for the new combined sewerage network serving the Valpantena District, in the north-east urban area of the City of Verona. CONSTRUCTION OF THE SEWERAGE NETWORK FOR THE TOWN OF TODI (PERUGIA)Services: Detailed design and Environmental Feasibility Study of the new sewage main collection network for the town of Todi (Perugia). The new sewerage pipelines (gravity and pressure systems), with a on overall length of 18 km and 9 pumping stations, will connect all the existing small WWTPs in order to centralize the treatments in the new WWTP of Porchiano with a treatment capacity of 25’000 p.e. Particular attention has been given to the resolution of interferences such as roads, railways and water streams, adopting overpassing on the existing structures (i.e. Fiume Tevere) or directional drilling technology

For the gravity network Vitrified Clay pipes have been chosen with an overall length of 200 km. In this networks, trenchless technologies such as Micro-Tunneling has been adopted for a total length of 18 km. Ductile iron pipes have been used for pressurized network (about 2 km), in which 6 pumping stations have been foreseen

Services: Design and work supervision of the new foul sewage for the Port of Naples with an overall length of about 30 km. The collection network has been foreseen both with gravity and vacuum systems. For vacuum system, particular attention has been given to the odor control and air treatment coming from the vacuum stations by means of biofilter units. For the construction of the network, both trench and directional drilling technology have been foreseen.

For the gravity network concrete pipes have been chosen with an overall length of 450 km. In this networks, trenchless technologies such as Micro- Tunneling has been adopted for a total length of 20 km with pipes up to 3’200 mm of diameter. Ductile iron pipes have been used for pressurized network (about 615 m of ND1000 mm pipe), in which 6 pumping stations have been foreseen. Soakaways have been also considered for the water dispersion, in order to avoid big pumping stations or long discharge pipelines to the outfall

NEW MULTI PURPOSE PLATFORM IN VADO LIGURE (SAVONA)

Services: Detailed and Final Design for the drainage system serving the new multi purpose platform in Vado Ligure. The foreseen drainage system has been designed in order to collect the stormwater discharging from the new structure with a total surface of about 21 ha. The collected water is treated in systems equipped with grit and oil separation chambers (totally 16 precast tanks with treatment capacity from 60 l/s up to 500 l/s), before its outfall to the sea.

EARTH DAM ON THE RIO MISICUNI (Bolivia)Services: Technical Assistance for the new earth dam on the Rio Misicuni in Bolivia. The dam crest is 512 m long and 7 m wide, while the height is 120 m with an overall volume of 3.80 mln m³. The impounding volume of water in the reservoir is 168 mln m³, at the maximum regulation level. The main surface spillway allows a flow rate of 800 m³/s into the derivation channel. The reservoir system is equipped with a bottom outlet i.e. an hydraulic tunnel of 5.30 m of diameter, allowing a maximum flow discharge of 255 m³/s
