Basic Software Landscape:

TechnoPurple Tracking Portal will give all stakeholders the ability to monitor and control their vehicles using any internet enabled device. We have won numerous awards for developing a user friendly, highly configurable and innovative tracking solution. Few screen shots of important pages have been added herewith for your reference. On the Login screen, enter the Username and Password provided by TechnoPurple and press the Login Button to start experiencing real time asset tracking.

Home:

TechnoPurple Home page gives you a snapshot of the current Fleet Status in a graphical manner under the following heads: Engine ON: Vehicle ignition is ON and device is sending live data to server. Engine OFF: Vehicle ignition is OFF and device is sending live data to server. Inactive: Device is not sending live data to the server due to weak GPS or GPRS signal. To find information about a particular vehicle or a group of vehicles, User can search the fleet by Vehicle Registration Number, Asset Number or Group Name.

Configure Alerts:

Alerts can be configured for following events: Over Speeding: Enter the Speed in Km/Hr in the threshold column over which alerts needs to be generated. Ignition ON / OFF: Every Ignition ON / OFF event in the selected time interval will trigger an alert from the system. Inactive: Alert will be generated when device stops sending live data to the server due to weak GPS or GPRS signal. Idling: Enter Time in Minutes over which if ignition of vehicle ON and Speed is Zero, alert needs to be generated. This alert is mainly used for detection of fuel wastage.

Geo Fence:

Geo Fence page helps in marking regions on map as geo fences for which vehicle entry or exit alerts need to be generated.

User Management:

User Management page helps to build user hierarchy in form of Parent – Child where the Parent can create new Child users and allocate rights governing the way Child accesses the system.

Reports:

Reports generated for particular Registration Number or Asset Number on selecting Start – End Date and Time are as follows: Fleet Utilization: This report gives details of total distance travelled during the selected interval with top speed and percentage utilization of calculated using ignition ON/ OFF duration. Trip Management: This report gives details of all the trip completed by vehicle with estimated and actual time taken to complete the trip along with delays, if any. Geo Fence: This report gives details of vehicle Geo Fence Entry / Exit with duration. All Events: This report gives details of all the events which triggered alert with option on preview on maps. Detailed History: This report gives detailed log of data received at the server with time stamp, vehicle status, location and speed. Stoppage: This report gives details of all the stoppages with stopping time, location, duration and option to preview on map. Traffic Analysis: This reports gives a detail of segment in which vehicle was stuck in traffic with start and end points. All segments in which vehicle was running as less than 20 Km/Hr for more than 10 Mins in ignition ON mode are highlighted. Ignition ON/OFF: This report gives details of all the locations where vehicle ignition was powered ON/OFF with option to preview on map. Over Speeding: This report gives details of all the locations where vehicle was overspeeding above specified limit with option to preview on map. All report details can be exported to Microsoft Excel or PDF for later viewing or printing.

General Help:

Live Help: Live Help can be used for reporting and resolution of any problem encountered with the system. Whenever Operator is Online, you can click on it for Live Help. Whenever Operator is Offline, you can click and leave a message. Account Settings: Account Settings allows you to change password and has personal details which should always be kept updated. Feedback: Feedback message can be sent for any suggestion regarding improvement of services. Logout: Logout button should be pressed whenever you are going away from the system to prevent any possible misuse.

Implementation Experience for GIS/GPS Solutions

TechnoPurple is known for the developing web based tracking solutions designed and customized as per client specifications. We use open source technologies for development which are easy to maintain and have no cost overheads. TechnoPurple has developed similar web based application for the following 4 major companies:

1) Trimax IT Infrstructure & Services Ltd:

Trimax is one of the leading providers of IT services in India. Trimax has exclusively tied up with TechnoPurple to offer GPS Tracking Services to its 500+ clients including big Government Organizations. We recently build a web based tracking solution for Trimax’s Clients – Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) and Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporations (RSRTC) for tracking interstate buses. This system also helps the commuters to know about the delayed / advance arrival of buses at every bus stop on the route.

TechnoPurple firstly did the requirement gathering from all the stale holders of MSRTC including drivers, fleet managers, commuters etc. Subsequently we designed, developed the complete Vehicle Tracking & Passenger Information System (VT & PIS) for the pilot project. This project required installation to be completed without affecting the bus departure schedule and at multiple locations. TechnoPurple with its in-house team of service engineers completed the installation on time and currently the system is in operation. TechnoPurple’s software has also been integrated with ERP for exception handling and online ticket booking module.

2) Gammon India Limited: Gammon is India’s leading player in the infrastructure space and has built major road and dam projects in the country. Their current fleet is over 3000 vehicles and TechnoPurple is exclusive supplier of tracking solution to Gammon. We have executed tracking projects in Patna – Muzzafarpur Road Project, Mumbi – Nasik Expressway, Gaya Sherghati Road Project, Himachal Pradesh Hydro Project and Bhutan Hydro Project. All the vehicles are actively being used by Gammon India.

For ease of monitoring by top management, various features like Trip Management, Utilization Report and User Management have been specifically built TechnoPurple on Gammon’s feedback. Using the Geo Fence feature, Gammon has been able to reduce the wait time of tippers at plant by generating pre-arrival alerts.

3) Suzlon and SE Shipping: Suzlon is India’s leading manufacturers of Wind Mills and SE Shipping is the 3PL partner for Suzlon which handles end to end transfer of Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) by coordinating with various ODC Movers. TechnoPurple built a customized application for handling all the stake holders of the system like 3PL Operator SE Shipping, Tranporters based pan-India, Suzlon Plants. The utilization of trucks has greatly improved after adoption of this system as specific alerts are generated when the vehicles stays beyond threshold period at Plants / Sites / Transit Points. In order to ensure seamless transfer of OD Cargo from source to destination, TechnoPurple also built a Mobile Tracking Application on Andriod Platform which is used for uploading data from the field in form of image like sharp turn, trees, dividers on road. This helps in taking corrective action before the Cargo

departs thereby reducing wastage of time during transit. Also the status of the vehicles like forward-backward movement, transit-waiting at plant can be update from Android Application and it is visible by all the viewers of the system.

4) The Leela Hotel, Mumbai: The Leela Hotel is India’s leading chain of business hotels and one of Mumbai’s busiest 5 Star Hotels. Using Trip Management Feature on TechnoPurple’s tracking portal, fleet managers of The Leela efficiently manage the movement of guests to and from the International and Domestic Airport. Also, using Idling Alerts, fleet managers are able to identify drivers who are wasting fuel due to excessive idling of vehicle.

5) Directorate of Advertising and Visual Printing (DAVP), Govt of India: DAVP is the nodal organization for preparing creatives and rolling out of ads for all Govt of India departments in newspapers and television across India. TechnoPurple’s Tracking Application on Android Mobiles is being used by DAVP for Geo-Located Governance where features on the application are used to confirm whether ad was circulated in the right newspaper, right page, right size and right town.
