Aimed to thoughtfully carry residential trends into commercial spaces, Tephra can be used to create cozy social spaces, comfy private offices and luxurious lobbies.

Informed by honest materials, such as raw stones and hidden fractures in the earth, Tephra brings a familiar feeling of comfort. Its sculpted organic texture creates an experiential space, placing focus on how Tephra feels, as much as how it looks. The experience is heightened by a mix of high- and low-contrast plied yarns and softly shifting color—a combination that enhances our senses and elevates our mood.

Designed as a line extension to the IxD Series, Tephra works beautifully with color coordinate Input to create shifts in pattern and texture within the floor plane. With the addition of 5 new colorways, Input has one-to-one color matches with Tephra and is ideal for spaces where a lower tip-sheared texture is desired.

The combination of Tephra and Input provides flexibility for interiors to be designed with textural shifts going from high to low texture, and from more pattern to less pattern. Input also allows designers to cross-average large projects with Tephra in high-end offices and conference rooms, and Input in back offices and corridors.

Suzanne Tick is the founder of Suzanne Tick Inc., specializing in materials brand strategy, product design, development, and direction for commercial interiors. Her designs, across product platforms, have won numerous design awards and continue to break new ground in the industry. In addition to her work in commercial interiors, Suzanne maintains a hand weaving practice and creates woven sculptures from repurposed materials. Her work is exhibited worldwide, including MoMA and Art Basel, as well as collected by private and corporate clients. A portion of the carpet sales for every Suzanne Tick design installed in K-12 and higher education environments is donated to Publicolor in NYC. Learn more at publicolor.org.

All Tandus Centiva Powerbond® and Modular options are 100% closed-loop recyclable through our ReStart® program and do not contain pesticides (antimicrobials) as part of our reduced chemical initiatives. We ensure 100% of the flooring samples returned are recycled or reused, guaranteed.

ReStart® includes Tandus Centiva’s third-party certified reclamation and recycling program that reclaims and recycles post consumer flooring, installation waste, samples and portfolios. To initiate ReStart, contact customer service at 800-248-2878. ReStart is available for all Tarkett products and may be initiated by contacting your Tarkett representative.
