PRINCIPALS MESSAGE
Wellbeing Week
Last week we celebrated Wellbeing Week at Gulgong Public School. It was a great opportunity for students and staff to take a break and do some fun activities around our own wellbeing.
Over the week we participated in activities around a different theme each day.
We had:
* Magnificent Monday
* Check In Tuesday
* Fill Your Bucket Wednesday
* Thankful Thursday
* Fun Friday
We also had a few events on over the week.
We had a Year 6 Students vs Teachers netball game which was a lot of fun.
All students and teachers from Kindergarten to Year 6 came down to the Netball courts and watched.
We also had our very first ‘Gulgong’s Got Talent’ which was organised by Mrs Lewis on Friday.
A big congratulations goes to all the students who auditioned over the past few weeks to be in Friday’s finale.
All students who competed last Friday did a wonderful job on stage.
Congratulations to the Year 6 Band and Miss Jones on taking out our first Gulgong’s Got Talent and to Chloe McKenzie who received the Encouragement Award.
We also held our Term 4 Disco last Friday as well as ‘Wear what makes you happy’.
Overall we had a great week here at GPS.

2020 Captain and Prefect Speeches.
With 2020 fast approaching , it is time to look to the new student leaders for our school. Student leaders play a very
important role in a school.
These leaders lead by example in class, in the playground and provide stability in our organisation of many school
events that students engage in.
Nominations have been made and the Captain & Prefect speeches will be held on the Monday 25th November
(Week 7) at 10am in the School Hall.
The successful group of students will be announced on our Presentation Day which is being held on Tuesday 10th
December 2019.
All parents, carers and family are invited to attend.
Gulgong Netball has it's next meeting on 25th November at Gulgong RSL Club boardroom at 5.30pm.
