1. Why Hospitality Sector?

Hospitality sector is among the leading contributor to food wastage.

One-third of all food is served within the hospitality sector.

Current per capita food wastage in this sector amounts to a whopping 18 kg!

The Idea!

Providing Eco labels/Green ratings on the basis of avoidable food wastage.

Whats in there for this sector?

1. Boosting their public image.

2. New avenues to market and brand themselves.

3. Providing altogether a new platform for ethical and healthy competition.

2. Why awareness?

For the past 6 years we are consuming more than we are producing and the result is rising prices.

1.6 billion people are overweight while 900 million remain undernourished.

Around 40% of the food gets wasted from Farm to Fork.

A series of comic strips making their appearance in the children-popular media and social networking sites.

A website hosting our comic strips, allowing users to give their views and discuss upon the issues.

Influencing the younger generation is very crucial to what happens in the future and comic strips may just do the needed.
