How the Ally Project worksThe Ally Project supports you and the other important people in your life to work towards a goal you have identified. This can be anything from moving out on your own, getting a job, or managing an aspect of your day-to-day life by yourself.

You choose what matters to you- and we give you the tools, information and support you need to rally support and make it happen.

You are matched with an Ally who works with you to answer the questions you may have, plan out the steps you need to take, and helps bring people on board to support your journey.

Your Ally works with you to give you the tools you need to work towards your goal and gain the confidence you need to make a lasting change.

All of this support is tailored to your particular circumstance and can be part of your self managed funding.

Here are the 4 key stages you can take advantage of via the Ally Project.

“The Ally Project became a turning point for us as a family. We had a goal of helping Emma move into her own place. Our Ally brought us together and with his help we were able to talk about things we hadn’t been able to do on our own”.

You identify your goal and we come together to build a roadmap on how this goal could be achieved. You gain a roadmap and a list of actionable items and contacts you can make use of, plus advice on how to work towards your goal with your existing resources and network.

Once you’ve built your roadmap, we bring you, your network and your Ally together for the Activation Stage. This involves a two hour session to dig through the mechanics of your roadmap and work out how you are going to achieve your goal personally and with your support group. After completing this, you can move on to work with your Ally on 6 intensive sessions to keep your idea on track and gain the support you need along the way.

Once you have finished your discovery roadmap, passed through the activation stage and connected with the Ally Project community, you can take advantage of an additional 6 months of access and support to help you grow your idea.

Community is about extending your sphere of support with experienced and like minded people. We introduce you to other people within the Ally Project community, online and in-person. The aim is to give you practical advice and knowledge based on tapping into people who have been where you are and have learning to share.
