The Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the IQAC

All NAAC accredited institutions will submit an annual self-reviewed progress report to NAAC,

through its IQAC. The report is to detail the tangible results achieved in key areas, specifically identified

respect to facilities for female students, job enhancement activities for students (job-fest),

Students were updated in IT field on issues of their career by

making them aware with “DISHARI App.” (7th position in

Rajasthan), “Hello English App.”, “Swacchata App.”, etc.

Library was enriched with around 2000 new books including

text books and reference books for PG students. Web camera,

coloured reprographic machines and furniture were provided in

library.

BSNL Lease line was installed in college for effective e-learning for students, ICT work of

academic and non-teaching staff. Enhancement of Library facilities in college by use of various

Under DISHARI scheme of government of Rajasthan students downloaded the apps. This app provides the

job alerts and question booklet exercises for various competitive exams. Some special coaching classes

under DISHARI scheme were also planned.

Students were persuaded to download another app HELLO ENGLISH which improves their acumen in and

proficiency in English language.

DISHARI App developed and recognized by the government of Rajasthan (DoT) is being

downloaded and used by students. This app provides the job alerts and exercise/practice

modules of question paper sets for various competitive exams. So far more than 80% students

of the campus have been recorded using this app. This has become possible because of the

Wi-Fi facility was made available to the students in the campus.

College has organized employment fare in order to give employment in campus itself. The

college runs youth development programme. The eminent persons are invited for delivering

extension lectures. An extension lecture on e- money and paperless transactions was also

organized.

PG students presented seminar on syllabus based topics using PPT and appeared in term tests. E-

lectures were prepared by faculty members which benefitted the students.

Under the auspicious of the Youth Development Center (YDC) of the college

counseling sessions and lectures have been regularly organized in the college campus.

An Employment cum skill development camp was organized for the students with the

help of District Employment Office Sirohi. Students were offered on the spot job and

An Extension Lecture was organized on Gender sensitization issues. These issues are dealt by the

women cell by organizing workshops and extension lectures.

As many as six faculty members contributed in the curriculum development at University level

subject committees.

College faculty updates and upgrades themselves with latest and online literatures and academic interactions

at seminar and workshops etc. Students are also exposed to e-learning through smart classes and Skill

development programmes. For Science PG students course-work and practical were conducted with CBCS

scheme of examination as directed by UGC.

Improvement in examination and evaluation process is under the jurisdiction of affiliating university. For

continual evaluation of students term tests and mock tests are conducted at the college.

Currently 39 students are persuing the progrrame of their Ph.D at the college under the supervision of faculty

members. Students have also submitted the projects for research grant. The DST FIST grants were provided

to the chemistry department. Rajeev Gandhi fellowship for research has been granted to four students at our

college.

Computers, kiosks, internet, reprographic and other facilities have been made available in the Library. The

college is using NME broadband and 4 mbps lease line connection of internet.

The principal of the college is head of the institution for the HRD work. Employees including ministerial, lab

staff and teaching staff avail the facilities provided by state government on regular basis.

The recruitment of faculty and staff is made by the Government of Rajasthan through RPSC.

Industrial visit of the students is conducted under YDC scheme. This year students visited a marble processing

industry at Udaipur. PG chemistry students are also visiting the industries as per the syllabus requirement.

Students thereupon submit the tour reports in the department.

Bar coding of answer books has been initiated by the university and the entire process of

filling exam forms, generating admission card and marks entry of evaluated answer-sheets and

practical exam. has been made online.

A fully operational and active alumni association has already been working in the college. The Alumni

has been given an office in the campus where they meet and interact regularly deliberating the

development plans of the college. Many retired faculty members and principals of this college are also

the part of the alumni association who understand better the requirement, scope and avenues of the

development of the institution.

One alumnus Mr. Mukesh Modi has donated the money for construction for a girl’s common room

complex with all the required amenities. Last year the foundation of Mr. Modi provided a water ATM in

the campus.

A parent-teacher committee is formed to have better understanding of the issues of the students. It is

active and functional.

Six PG departments are functioning in the college to cater special needs of the postgraduate students

through conducting, seminars, tours, cultural activities, literary activities and staff. Each department of

the college is now self-sufficient to perform the regular departmental activities which include research,

teaching and other co-curricular activities.

This year each faculty members planted a tree and taken pledges to keep it live as per the directive of our

teachers association. Plantation work is periodically done with the help of locally working NGO.

Routine maintenance of the Botanical Garden and college lawns is done by the college management.

This year more than 50 tree-guards has been proved by NGO and the in the science campus of the

college around thousand trees have been planted. Many programmes and rallies have been organized by

NSS for this cause.

Four Mbps speed internet lease line has been installed and campus has been made Wi-Fi. CCTV cameras

and mineral water RO plants were installed in college campus for the benefit if the students.

1. E-class and smart class room was planned in the college and now it has been made functional.

2. The college is now registered under PFMS with central government and with pay manager facilities

with the state government.

3. Alumni association registration is completed and association started working in college campus.
