A very special thankyou to those who made the servicecelebrating his life so meaningful.Pastors Pete Christy and JohnnyWhite, those who spoke, thosewho provided the music with aspecial mention of the HighlandLakes Men’s Chorus for singingBob’s favorite song so movingly.I know he had a huge smile on hisface and tears in his eyes. (He al-ways choked up when singing it.)And to those who provided re-freshments. It is a privilege to be apart of this caring church family.May God bless all of you as youhave been a blessing to us.

CheckThisOut

Check out thisgreat read from the Church Li-brary. This is a review from thebook club on a book that is avail-able in the church library:

It's More Than the Music:Life Lessons on Friends, Faith andWhat Matters Most by Bill Gaitherand Ken Abraham. In It's MoreThan the Music, gospel music'smost beloved singer and prolificsongwriter, Bill Gaither, talksabout his frustration to become agospel singer while still a collegestudent. He recalls the days as ahigh school English teacher whenhis dream would not die and hisfaith in God gave him the strengthto keep trying.

Horseshoe Bay ChurchChoir members have enjoyed thisbook and now it's your turn.

Second AnnualBenevolence Bazaar

Due to the event’s over-whelming success last year, theBenevolence Committee will againshowcase the missions and otherbenevolent organizations that thechurch supports at a bazaar follow-ing the 11:00 a.m. service on De-cember 2. This event will providechurch members an excellent op-portunity to learn more about thevarious agencies, as well as afford-ing the organizations a venue toshare information with the congre-gation.

Many opportunities to vol-unteer abound in our area, and theBenevolence Bazaar is a greatplace to find a spot that will makeuse of your gifts and talentsthrough a variety of organizationsserved by The Church at Horse-shoe Bay.
