OR: to find articles with one or both terms
e.g. health education OR health promotion
AND NOT: to find articles which have the first term but not the second term
e.g. health education AND NOT health promotion

Search Tips for Online search
• Search more than 1 database
• Study “help menu”, “how to” from each database
• Use "quotation marks" to search for exact phrases
E.g. “health care reform” “health services access”
• Use the truncation symbol to find multiple forms of a word.
– * is used as a right-handed truncation character only; it will find all forms of a word.E.g. searching for econom* will find "economy", "economics", economical", etc.
– ? is used to replace any single character, either inside the word or the right end of the word. .E.g. searching for "wom?n" will find "woman" and "women."
