The Dead of the 84th
The following is a copy of an official dis-
patch to the Governor:
List of the names, residences, and places of
burial of the members of the 84th regi-
ment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, who feel in
the engagement near Winchester on the 23rd
of March, 1862:
Colonel Wm. G. Murray, Hollidaysburg.
Captain Patrick Gallagher, Williamsburg.
Lieutenant Charles Reem, Frankstown.

Paul McLang, Hollidaysburg.
John Gillmore, Hollidaysburg.

Reuben Killian, Shickshinny, Luzerne county.

All the above are burried together in the

cemetery at Winchester, with the exception
of Col. W. G. Murray and Captain Gallaher,
who were buried at Hollidaysburg, Pa. The
graves are designated by head boards on
which are marked the initials of the deceased.
