Robotics will meet on Wednesday before school during Falcon time
and after school from 4:30 – 6:00 in Ms. Christensen’s room, B112.
Artistically Talented will meet on Wednesday during Falcon Time in
Mrs. Fort’s room, B108.
Academic Pursuit has a meet after school on Wednesday at Lynhurst
Middle School.
Northview United Soccer Club will meet after school on Thursday
from 4:30 – 6:00 in the main gym.

middle schools will go head to head in an epic event
to find out who is the best in the district! One
admission price gets you access to all of the games.

IMPORTANT DATES & REMINDERS
Quarter 2/Semester 1 report cards will be distributed on Friday, January 11th.
Monday, January 21st will now be a regular school day to make up for the school cancellation in November.
ISSMA Vocal and Piano Solo & Ensemble District Contest will take place on January 26th at Westfield High School.
January 31st will be an early release day for staff and students.
ISSMA Instrumental Solo & Ensemble District Contest will take place on February 2nd at Ben Davis High School.
Quarter 3 Midterm is Friday, February 8th.
Money and permission slips for the AVID college visit to Purdue University are due by February 8th.
The English Department presents Speed-Date a Book on Wednesday, February 13th.
There will be no school on Friday, February 15th for Midterm Break or Monday, February 18th for Presidents’ Day.
Quarter 3 midterm grade and conduct reports will be distributed on Wednesday, February 20th.
Changes are coming to MSDWT! Beginning in the 2019-
2020 school year, the school attendance boundaries within

Crew: Mrs. Miedema and Miss Morgan are still seeking crew members for the spring
musical production of Annie Jr. Crew positions include props, lights, sets, and more. Applicants need to have exemplary conduct as you are being trusted with important jobs and expensive equipment. Interested students should see Mrs. Miedema in room A106 by Friday, January 11th.
Cast: Rehearsals begin this week. See the rehearsal schedule to see which days you should attend.

production of Annie Jr. Crew positions include props, lights, sets, and more. Applicants need to have exemplary conduct as you are being trusted with important jobs and expensive equipment. Interested students should turn in a completed application to Mrs. Miedema by Wednesday, December 19th.
Cast: The entire cast of Annie Jr. will meet for a complete run-through of the script (both reading lines and singing songs) on Tuesday, December 18th after school. There will be a parent meeting immediately following at 6:00 pm.

Schedule Update: Modified Drop 2 Pilot This week begins the second phase of the Drop 2 Schedule Pilot in which we will test out the modified Drop 2 schedule. This schedule features a Falcon Day and one Drop 2 schedule cycle per week. The pilot will run through Friday, February 8th. At that time, additional feedback will be gathered and a final decision will be made regarding the schedule for NVMS.

and Fitness Fair will take place on Saturday, March 9th at North Central High School.
There are three races to choose from – a family fun run,
a 5K, and a 10K – as well as a cool fitness fair in the
North Central gym. This event raises a lot of funds that benefit MSDWT educational programs and help create
extracurricular opportunities for students.
