Small Group Discussion Starters...

1. Read 2 Timothy 3:14-15. Can a believer continue growing in their faith without developing good habits? What habits keep you spiritually in tune?

2. What does it mean to say that Jesus is our “Lord?” Discuss how obedience relates to: The Great Commission (Matthew 28:20), the call of a disciple (Luke 6:46), and exercising our faith (James 1:22-24). Why is obedience so difficult and what steps can be taken to help us be more obedient?

3. We are told in scripture to pray without ceasing...what does that mean and can we actually do this? Discuss ways the group can encourage one another to be more devoted to prayer.

4. Read Colossians 1:18, 24 and discuss what it means to be the body of Christ and how being this body affects our need for worship and community.

5. Discuss what it means to be a disciple, how to be a disciple maker, and what steps your group can take to be more intentional about making disciples.

Pray that people will see Jesus through our service and seek a relationship with Him.
