Decide to Listen Listen to what I
have to say.
Tell yourself that the goal is to listen., to concentrate on the speakers words and message. DO NOT pay attention on the speakers age or speaking style.
FOCUS ON THE SPEAKER
It is very
important to focus on what
a person is saying.
Establish and maintain eye contact with the speaker. Listen and concentrate on what the speaker is saying . Avoid thinking of what you will say the speaker when the speaker if finished
Katherine: I look good in my new hair cut.Aron: Yes you do look good in your new hair cut.Katherine: Did you see the winter concert yesterday.Aron: Yes I did see the winter concert yesterday.
