We welcome you back for the 5th annual production sale “The Gathering at Shoal Creek.”

We hope to see old friends and make new ones on the weekend of April 2nd as we present our

best at our Big Sale Event!

While the cattle are the focus of our industry, it is the people and the relationships

formed that are at its heart. We would like to thank all of our past customers for their belief

in our program, as well as our guest consignors for joining us for The Gathering. Our guest

consignors are friends that we respect and trust and we thank them for bringing their best

to The Gathering. They include RS&T Simmentals, Vestlane Farms, Double R Cattle Company,

HBE Simmentals, Dikeman Simmentals, and VAB Farms.

We would also like to thank all of the individuals and firms that came together to

support our ASA Foundation Donation Female offering this year at the National Western.

Every year we strive to assemble a set of cattle that can appeal to producers on many

different levels. Our goal has been to breed the fundamentals of quality: power, presence, and

balance and when you see them on April 2nd, we believe that you will agree that progress

towards that goal has been made.

2016 marks the first time in several years that we have offered herd sire prospects in the

sale. The 5 feature bulls are those that we believe have the pedigree and cow power behind

them to be true cow improvers for their new owners. The Pays to Dream x LLSF Urababydoll

bulls are full brothers to the popular LLSF Pays to Believe that has made his mark in the breed

for style, look, and structure. The Upper Class sons of Double R Miss 29G T18 represent a

powerful twist on a proven mating as they are 3/4 brothers to the Genex sire SVF Allegiance.

Not only are we offering these outstanding herd sire prospects, but there is a full sister to each

mating that offer worlds of potential as donor prospects.

The fall calves are the highest quality group of show and donor prospects that we have

offered yet. Many stem from donors in the Shoal Creek program as well as females that have

highlighted past editions of The Gathering. Be sure to check out the calves sired by LLSF/VLF

Reactor A40 as they are some of the ones that we are most excited about. Reactor has proven

to sire cattle that are sound, big centered, and have that extra shot of look that we strive so

hard to achieve. Many of the fall bred heifers carry his service.

three herd sire prospects represent that opportunity on April 2nd as they are full brothers to llSF pays To Believe, the past north American and national Western Champion. llSF pays To Believe has been one that many breeders have turned to as the pays To Dream son to use to sire sale topping females and complete herd bulls in programs across the country. We have always admired the pays To Dream sired cattle for their balance, look, style, and extremely sound structure and this flush was loaded with all of that from the first one to the last. They were met with high hopes at calving and have been an exciting group to watch mature. C19 has shown to be the soft centered more moderate bull of the group. C11 was always the more extended stouter featured individual while C15 blends the body, look, and design of his brothers into a very appealing package.
