This past week has been a very empowering experience, I have been surrounded by such a diverse group of women, all championing agriculture in different ways”. Maisie Morrow, The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl 2017 - Winner “Being part of the Showgirl movement has given me so many opportunities. I have become more involved in my local community, more passionate about rural Australia and it’s importance, and I’ve learnt so much about myself: what my goals are, what my strengths and weaknesses are, and who I want to be. I’ve also had a ball and met some incredible, like minded and inspiring people”. Emma Gorman, The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl 2017 - First Runner Up “I have developed so many skills and been involved in wonderful opportunities since entering the Showgirl movement. Often the skills I have learnt have set me in good stead for everyday life and have enabled me to be more involved in my community. I have particularly enjoyed networking with other young women and people within my local community to address concerns and celebrate our region”.
