THE SHOW HALL is non-smoking and has central heating and cooling. No Early Exhibitor Setup Due To Time Constraints, Sorry. GRAND PARTIES ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED! We will also have food trucks available at the show.
CHECK-IN HOURS: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Any entry not checked in by 8:30 a.m. will be marked absent. Judging will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Advertised show hours are from 10:00am to 5:00pm Saturday and 10:00am to 4:00pm Sunday. All exhibitors are expected to be present during advertised show hours unless given permission to leave early by the show manager.
SPECTATORS: Spectators will be welcome to the show as long as COVID guidelines allow. The show will honor all local COVID mandates.
HEALTH: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of each entry must be clipped prior to benching. Failure to do so will subject the entry to disqualification. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. All kittens must be four months of age on or before the first day of the show.
CFA SHOW RULES: will govern this show. A copy of the show rules can be obtained by sending $7.00 to CFA, Inc., 260 East Main St., Alliance, OH 44601. Rosettes will be awarded for all final wins. Permanent flats will be used, but ribbons will be available at the owner’s request. The club reserves the right to add or change judges.
SCORING: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number.
BENCHING REQUESTS: will be limited to one exhibitor and will be honored when possible. No negative benching requests please. *End of row bench-ing requests will be honored as available, with the fee waived for disabled exhibitors.
AMENITIES: Litter will be provided, but please bring your own litter pans. It is also suggested that you bring your own food and water bowls. Cages provided are the standard DOUBLE size cages normally used outside region 5. A single cage is size is 21” x 21” x 21” and a double cage is 21” x 21” x 45”. If you have your own region 5 cage you will need to purchase a groom space. Cages are provided as part of your entry fee.
NEW EXHIBITORS: should bring a towel or rug for the floor of the cage and enough fabric to go around and cover the top of the cage. ALL CATS MUST BE BROUGHT IN A CARRIER. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry.
ENTRIES AND FEES: Make checks payable to LAS VEGAS CAT CLUB. Each entry must be on a signed CFA entry form or exact facsimile. For entry clarification, the entry clerk will call collect. Entry fees must be received within 10 days of submitting an entry. THE SHOW IS ACCEPTING ENTRIES NOW!

SHOW HOTEL: There is no specific show hotel, but there is a LaQuinta and a Best Western Plus nearby. There is also a Hawthorne Suites a bit further away. Please check the internet for hotel availabililty and pricing. Please note that hotel rates have risen since the pandemic.
