This year’s performance of Peter Pan marks the 31st productionof The Laymen Playmen.
Peter Pan is based on J.M. Barrie's classic tale and featuring anunforgettable score by Morris "Moose" Charlap and Jule Styne withlyrics by Carolyn Leigh, Betty Comden, and Adolph Green. Peter Panis a musical, based on the play by Sir J. M. Barrie. Originally directed, choreographed, and adapted by Jerome Robbins.
Imagine living on an island where you never grow up and aresurrounded by lost boys, pirates, and Indians. The Darling childrenget to experience many new adventures. Peter Pan takes them on amagical journey where they befriend the lost boys. They have to hidefrom the Indians and fight a bunch of pirates.
We cannot thank enough the entire cast for making this show comealive before our eyes. It would also not be possible without the helpof all our crew members and orchestra members. Special shout out toBeth Casmas, who was also a rehearsal pianist this year, and Abbie Lampe as our musical director. Kimmy Faughey was our choreographerand put together some amazing dances. We also cannot forget everyonewho helps out with our lights, sound, and set construction. Unfortunately, there is one person that we are unable to thank in person this year,David Krum. He passed away in early January. He was a past Presidentof the organization and an integral part of the Laymen Playmen familyfor the past 30 years. He will always be a part of our group, as ourmemories of him will be shared for many years to come. We are sure hehas the best seat in the house and is supporting us from above.
Just having you be a part of our audience helps so many people in need.We hope you enjoy the show as much as we haveenjoyed putting it together for you. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this crazy adventure with us.
Lori Maxwell / DirectorShe is once again directing the Laymen Playmen show this year. She has
been a director many years over for this organization, and once again bringsher knowledge and gifts to our theatre to ensure that the audience’s trip to
Neverland is an unforgettable one. She works to ensure that all—cast, crew, musicians, and everyone involved with the production of the show—are
supported and encouraged. Laymen Playmen extends thanks to herfor her dedication.
Kelsey Zetzsche / DirectorThis is the first time I have helped direct a play. I have been apart of LaymenPlaymen for the past 21 years. I have loved this experience watching the show
come alive.
Abbie Lampe / Choral DirectorBy day, She is the Director of Nursing at the Kirkbride Center in Philadelphia. By night, she flies to Neverland, where she gets to do musical things, and play with three daughters
who are gonna grow up by graduating from North Penn this year. She and her familyreturned to the nicely crowded island of Lansdale, after spending two years in Orlando. She has been involved in the theatre and marching band worlds most of her life, has a
degree in music from West Chester University, and is the minister of music for childrenand youth at St. John's United Church of Christ. She is grateful for the opportunity to be
a part of this production, and is thinking lovely thoughts so everyone can fly!
Bill Dougherty ~ Co-Producer ~ I just enjoy the work this great group of people do coming together with a
charitable heart for those in need through the Local Pastor’s Fund. Thisyear I find myself working the back ground as Co-Producer and stage
crew helping all the magic come together. Also, find myself missing a goodfriend who’s been with LP for some 28 years, Dave Krum. Hopefully, I can
help carry on some of his antics keeping the place jovial.
Juls Krauskopf ~ Stage Crew Manager ~This is her sixth year as stage manager. Before this adventure, she assistedbehind the scenes. In her spare time, she is Quarter Master of Brian Boru
Pipes and Drums., a proud mom of three, and an animal lover.
Zak Krauskopf ~ Assistant Stage Crew Manager ~He has been on stage crew for six years, and this is his fourth year as Asst.Stage Manager. He is also involved in Pennfield TV, lights and sound for
Pennfield’s plays, and color guard for Brian Boru Pipes and Drums.

Preamble to Prayer
As the Lord Jesus stands between usand the ultimate power of sin and evil…
So stand our first respondersbetween us and the earthly threats of
fire, accident, despot, and dictator withtheir perversions of good for evil.
Prayer
Heavenly Father we call your blessingand protection upon and with thosewho guard our freedom to live a life
of faith. We fervently desire theHoly Spirit to be welcomed by thePresident, Generals, Commanders,
Chiefs and all others in authority: thatthey would seek Your Will and direction
in the formulation of strategy anddeployment of troops.
Let the angels loose: to protect, accompany, and rescue those whohave answered the call to defend
our freedom.In Jesus Name.
Amen

Every once in a while there arises a shiningstar in our midst who is a visionary, is
compassionate, sees the greater good inothers and is just fun to be with. We havebeen so fortunate here at Laymen Playmen
to have had one such person in our midst for28 years. Dave Krum was our Judd in our first
Oklahoma , Moonie in Anything Goes, Harrythe Horse in Guys and Dolls , a funny gangsterin Kiss Me Kate, Bill Sykes and his favorite -
Fagin in Oliver among the many additional rolesin his 28 years with LP.
"Sail On, Edgar Bean (Titanic) - There's a wholenew world out there."
God Speed, David Krum. You will be missed by so many.

“We never know what tomorrow brings, but you will be best remembered for whatyou have done until today. Just as those
who boarded that ship, Titanic, years ago, live the dreams you have and take all thatlife gives you. If there is no tomorrow, leave nothing undone today. And, if youhave the chance, make sure you dance
with the first class.”God Bless You.

With sweet treats in his pockets for the “ little ones”,love in his heart for all, readiness to respond toany and all call for help, an admirablework ethic, and “that” streak ofmischievousness we all anticipated:Dave Krum lived a life offaith and service.
Now, “the pitcher has gone to the wellfor the last time”, and there are holeseverywhere; choir, Laymen Playmen, children and grandchildren…He has “slipped the surly bonds of earth” and is flittingabout heaven; renewing ties with sister, parents and somany kinsfolk, known and from antiquity.
