grandparenTsspeciaL friends daY April 22 was a Grand Day at St. Joseph/Mar-quette Catholic School as the Sister Rebecca Berghoff Foundation hosted Grandparents/Special Friends Day. We estimated that over 525 students, grandparents and special friends ate breakfast, visited and toured the campus, attended Mass and by all accounts had a wonderful time. Sister’s Rebecca’s Foundation loves to facilitate and host this “GRAND-DAY”.

weLcomeFour St. Joseph/Marquette Catholic school seconded graders were baptized three weeks ago at St. Joseph’s parish by Fr. Pulido, pastor. These students will now make their First Reconciliation and First Communion. It should be noted that some of these children’s families are not catholic and they not only had to convince their parents’ that they want to be baptized, they also had to meet with Fr. Pulido and convince him that this is something they are being called to do. This says quite a lot about the students, parents and their teachers.
