The Mississippi Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. honored the finest in construction at its annual Merit Awards banquet held November 7, 2014, at the Hilton Jackson. Tommy Kline of Kline Mechanical Company was awarded ‘Construction Industry Person of the Year’.

Workforce Development Award of Excellence was awarded to W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company and Award of Achievement was awarded to Ivey Mechanical Company.

The Adult Craft Instructor of the Year was awarded to Martin Jackson, Electrical Instructor with the MS Construction Education Foundation and the High School Craft Instructor of the year Awarded went to Stephen Murphy with the Pearl/Rankin Career & Technical Center. The MABC/MCEF Career & Technical Center of Excellence Award went to Smith Country Career Center.

Nineteen members of the MABC Construction Leadership Institute were awarded their plaques of completion.

B. Thisprocedureshallapplytothebiddingphaseofaprojectonlyandhasnoapplicationtoissuanceof planstothesuccessfulbidder. C. ItshallbetheresponsibilityoftheABCmembertoidentifyhimselftothearchitect/engineeratthetime plansareissuedtobeentitledtotermsofthisagreement.

D. The architect/engineer will call upon the ABC to honor plan deposit guarantee should one of its contractormembers:
