Negotiate minimum discounts for purchases
Develop processes, documentation for addressing requests outside of the standards

Establish an automated method for computer purchases

Establish processes for on-going review of standards and costs

SUCCESS
60% of all computers purchased during the year after deployment are from standard list will enable UTSA to realize time savings and increased customer satisfaction due to the computer being functional when received.
10% savings on computer purchases by comparing the 12 month period after the standards project to the 12 month period before the project.
Survey the UTSA ITA’s for their opinion & views of the program six months after implementation. 70% favorability will be considered a success point.
