End-of-Year ExaminationsThe end-of-year examinations timetable can be viewed on the JC website www.jc.um.edu.mt

The first resit session will be held on Saturday 31 August 2019. The full timetable will be published in July.

Euroscola 2019A group of JC students once again participated in Euroscola 2019 organised by the European Parliament. There were over 600 students from 21 of the EU Member States. Euroscola offers students the opportunity to be an MEP for the day. They even get to vote on EU-related issues such as immigration, sustainable development and the future of Europe. This year students also discussed the upcoming EU elections.

In order to be chosen for this visit, students had to sit for a test related to how the EU works, and the top 24 were chosen. In preparation for the actual Euroscola day, the students wara allocated a theme and had to research the topic and give a presentation. The themes chosen were related to workshops and debates that took place at the European Parliament during the event.

In addition to a day at the European Parliament, students were fortunate to visit the Court of Human Rights and meet with Maltese Judge Vincent De Gaetano, who gave a talk to the students and explained how the court works, including a brief tour of the court. Judge De Gaetano also participated in a question and answer session with the students.

As part of the educational and cultural programme, the group visited the cathedral, and Petite France. They also had a boat trip organised explaining the history and buildings around Strasbourg and several museums.
