InterACT for Inclusion – Kick off Meeting The leaders from Germany, Finland, Belgium and Malta met for the first Kick off meeting, part of the InterACT for Inclusion – Erasmus+ project co-ordinated by Junior College, between 30 and 31 October.

The project will run for a year and will include two youth exchanges, starting with the first exchange hosted by Junior College in January 2019 and the second to be hosted by the German partners in March 2019.

The Project is an opportunity for students to experience intercultural education by taking active part in activities involving sports, while learning about inclusion, tolerance, conflict management and much more …

EUROSCOLA - February 2019 Junior College students are being offered the opportunity to attend Euroscola. Become an MEP for a day, visit the European Court of Human Rights and travel to Strasbourg, France.

Interested to join this experience?

Please register at the Euro-Centre at your earliest in order to sit for the competition test. A booklet is being distributed to help you prepare for the test. You may collect the booklet as from Thursday 1 November.

Those who qualify to attend this experience will be sponsored by the European Parliament and will have most of their expenses refunded.

This opportunity is open for both first and second-year students.

Competition test date: Wednesday 14 November

Time: 14:00 hrs

Caps for L-Istrina

A reminder that caps will still be collected throughout the year. Any cap will do – not only bottled drink caps, but also milk caps, soap bottle caps and school marker caps. Caps for L-Istrina may be left at the Reception until the end of November.

Clothes Deposit Box for Recycling

JC staff and students are encouraged to continue making use of the clothes deposit box for recycling. This is located in Car Park 1. Access to it is from the basement door (opposite the lift). Clothes, bags, hats, bedsheets, soft toys and belts are all accepted.
