AttheeasternendothebeachistheRNLILieboathouse,thisisotenopentovisitorsduringthesummerandcurrentlyhousesaMerseyclasslieboattheDorisM.MannoAmpthillnamedatertheladywholetasubstantiallegacytotheRNLIinherwill.TothesouthothelieboathouseistheOuterHarbour,thisisatemporaryconstruction

Walkwestwardalongthebeachandyouwillseebrightlypaintedbeachhutsinrontosanddunesandpinetrees.Thepinewoods(mainlyCorsicanpinetrees)

wereplantedtoprotectthereclaimedarmlandtothesouthromwindblownsandandalsotohelpconsolidatethedunestohelpwithoodprotection.PastthelastbeachhutandonwardoranothermileorsoandyouwillreachHolkhambeach,oneothemostspectacularinBritainandusedasaflmlocationinseveralmoviesandTVseries.Thepinewoodsandmostothebeacharedogriendlyandaperectwaytocombineexerciseandenjoyment.

1. Thecontractohireshallbebetweentheholidaymaker(thehirer)andtheholidayownerandsubjecttotheconditionsotheholidaylet.Thecontractohireisnoteectiveuntilwrittenconfrmationothebookingisdispatchedtotheholidaymaker.Thepropertyishiredonthebasisthattheaccommodationisorholidayuseonlyandexceptingbabies,

thenamesandnumbersopersonsusingthepropertyislimitedtoonesstipulatedatthepointobooking.

Booking a Holiday

1. Provisionalbookingsmaybemadebytelephoneoremailandbyusingthebookingsorm.Forallbookingsadeposito25%othetotalholidaycost(non-reundable)isrequiredanduntilthisdepositisreceivedanyreservationmadeisprovisionalandmaybevariedorcancelledwithoutnotice.Uponpaymentothedepositandsubjecttoacceptanceothebookingthehirerbecomesliableorthebalanceotherental.Thebalanceotherentalisdueatleast8weekspriortotherentaldate.Wereservetherighttore-letthehouseinopaymentisreceivedwithinthistime-rame.Noremindersarenormallyissued.

2. Anadditionalsumo100.00tocoveranyaccidentaldamagewillberequiredwhenfnalpaymentismade,howeverthisdepositisullyreundable1weekatertheendoyourstay.Wereservetherighttochargeoranybreakagesordamagecausedduringyourstay.Ithisunortunatelyisthecasewewillreturnthebalanceremainingoyourdamagedepositasappropriate.

3. Youwillreceivenomorecorrespondenceromusuntilwereceivethebalanceopaymentromyou.Untilwereceivethisfnalpayment,hirerswillnotbepermittedtoenterTheOldExchange.

Cancellation

1. Intheeventocancellationbyyou,thetotalcostispayable,unlessweareabletore-letTheOldExchange.Inthiscasethedepositwillberetainedtocovercosts.Weadvise,toprovideorunoreseencircumstances,thathirerstakeoutindependentholidaycancellationinsurance.

Period

1. WeeklybookingsareromFridaytoFridayORSaturdaytoSaturday.TheOldExchangemaybeoccupiedrom3pmonthedayoarrivalandmustbevacatedby10amonthedayodeparture.Outoseasonweekendbreaks(3nights)areromFridaytoMonday-keysavailablerom3pmFridaytobereturnedby10amMonday.Outoseasonmid-weekbreaks(4nights)areromMondaytoFriday-keysavailablerom3pmMondaytobereturnedby10amFriday.

Usage

1. Hirersmustdonothingtovoidtheholidayownerspropertyinsurancepolicy(acopyowhichisavailableonrequest),andmustnotcausenuisancetoneighbours.

2. TheOldExchangeisthoroughlycleanedbetweenbookingsandweaskyoutoensurethatTheOldExchangeandits

contentsarecleanandtidywhenyoudepart,i.e.letasyouwouldwishtofndthem.Pleaseletusknowoanydamagesorbreakagessothatwecanreplaceorrepairorthenextvisitors.

Under 18s

1. Bookingswillnotbeacceptedrompersonsundertheageo18.Wereservetherighttoreusebookingssolelyatourdiscretion.

Injury

1. Weregretthatweacceptnoliabilityorlossordamagetobelongingsororanyinjurysustainedwhileyouareatthecottage.

2. SmokingisNOTpermittedinsideTheOldExchange.Petsarepermittedbutlimitedto4andtotheoutsideanddownstairsONLY.Pleaseclearupanyexcrementromyourpetasyouwouldathome.IeitherotheseconditionsarebreachedthepartyWILLberequiredtovacateTheOldExchangeorthwith,andwilloreittheullholidayrental.

3. I,aterwehaveconfrmedyourbooking,wecannotsupplythecottagetoyoubecauseoreasonsbeyondour

control,wewilloeryoualternativeaccommodationwhichisatleastasgood,iatallpossible.Iyoudonotwantthisaccommodationoriwecannotoeryoualternativeaccommodationwewillreturntherentalpricetoyouinullandwemayatoursolediscretionoeryoucompensationasappropriate.

4. IyoueelyouhavereasontocomplainaboutTheOldExchange,youmusttellusimmediatelysowecantakeappropriateaction.Wecannothelpyouiwedonotknowaboutyourproblem.Iyoudonotreportyourcomplaintimmediately,butchoosetoraiseitonyourreturnhome,youacceptthatitwillmakeithardertoinvestigateyour

complaintateryourrentalhasended.

5. YoumustgiveusorourrepresentativeaccesstoTheOldExchangeatanyreasonabletimewhileyouarerentingittocarryoutroutinegardeningoressentialmaintenanceorithereisanemergency.Whereverpossiblewewouldarrangethisinadvance.

6. Wemakeeveryeorttomakesuretheinormationwegiveorallyorinwritingisaccurate,howeverchangesanderrorsoccasionallyoccur.YoumustthereoreensureyoucheckallTheOldExchangedetailsatthetimeobooking.Weshallnotbeliableorinaccurateinormation.

7. BymakingabookingyouagreethatwemaystoreanduseyourinormationasrequiredtocompleteyourbookingandallowyoutostayatTheOldExchange.
