Christ the KingAnnual Golf Classic
Christ the King 27th annual Charity Golf Classic will be held on Monday, Septem-ber 12, 2016 at Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee. Proceeds benefit needy families in Mashpee and surrounding ar-eas through the outreach programs of The Knights of Columbus and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
The entry fee is $180 per player. Boxed lunch, dinner, silent and live auctions, and many cash awards are planned. Reg-istration will open at 9:00 AM and play will begin with a shotgun start at 11:00 AM. The cost to attend the dinner only is
$50.
If you are unable to at-tend, please give serious consideration to sup-porting this worthwhile event with a monetary

THIRD ORDER OF CARMELITES – meets the 3rd Sunday of the month, 10:30 AM. Mass followed by a teaching in Room A; daytime prayer in St. Jude’s Chapel. CAHOON MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART – The beautiful newly renovated Ca-hoon Museum of American Art in Cotuit has reopened and is presently looking for volunteers. If you are interested in volun-teering, please call Gwen Manross, volun-teer coordinator at 508-428-7581.
Regarding the MASS OF HEALING – We canceled the July Mass of the Healing be-cause it fell on July 4. Our next Mass of Healing will be Monday, August 1. The Cancer Support Group will still sponsor a meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at 4 PM which offers an informal discussion opportunity for members who would prefer a smaller group. A FREE RETREAT – for all First Year Students – Going to any College or Uni-versity – On August 9-10, the Diocese of Catholic Campus Ministry will offer an overnight program at Sacred Hearts Re-treat Center in Wareham, MA.
