• Referral Partnership – The Credit Union acts as a referral source for the

Private Student Loan products; interested members can apply for a private

student loan via the customized URL

• The Credit Union promotes the Private Student Loan products and

partnership through the website, email campaigns and by providing product

awareness to branches

• Sallie Mae originates, underwrites, funds, and services the loan

• Benefits of partnership – helps members meet a critical need of funding the

student’s education without tapping into their retirement savings

The Smart Option Student Loan

• Student Borrower, Parent or credit worthy individual cosigner

• Borrow up to 100% of the school certified cost of attendance

• Eligible for up to 120 minutes of Study Starter Tutoring or Chegg Study

• No origination fee

• No prepayment penalty

• Receive a 0.25% interest rate reduction while enrolled to make scheduled

monthly payments by automatic debit

• 3 repayment options – Interest only, Fixed, or Deferred

The Parent Loan

• Parent/Grandparent/Family Member – Borrower

• Borrow up to 100% of the school certified cost of attendance
