WEEK OF PRAYER FOR NORTH AMERICAN MISSIONS
March 4-11 is the Week of Prayer for North American Missions. The theme is “On Mission Here & Now”. Accord-ing to statistics, 269 million people across North America do not know Christ, but hundreds of churches are closing their doors every day. Your pray-ers and financial support through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering are critical provisions for our Missionaries. Love God, love others, and share the Good News. Do this in remembrance of Me
PASTOR’S NOTE
“He was pierced for our trans-gressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was up-on Him, and by His wounds we
are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
During this season of Easter, we remember how much God loved us by allowing His only Son to die a sacrificial death for you and me. Our sin and guilt was placed on Him, and we received His forgiveness, peace, and healing. On Good Friday, March 30, hum-ble yourself before God, and thank Him for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ.
The Week of Prayer for North American Missions is March 4-11, 2018. The theme is “On Mission Here and Now.” The Annie Armstrong Easter Offer-ing supports the 5,000 mis-sionaries serving in the U.S. and Canada. Please use the prayer guide to pray specifically for our missionaries, and give to the special missions offering to sup-port them financially. Our goal is $2,000.
Dr. Marty Thomas will be our Gideon speaker on Sunday, March 4. The Gideons Interna-tional is an organization of Christian business and profes-sional men who distribute the Gospel through the distribution of God’s Word. They place Bibles in schools, hospitals, hotels, pris-ons, medical and dental offices, and the military. Please give to the special offering for Gideons International.
Our Easter Musical, “Salvation’s Story,” arranged by Cliff Duren, will be Sunday, March 25, at 11:00 a.m. Our worship leader, Daniel Merck, will lead our adult choir. Come and be uplifted in your faith as we celebrate our Lord’s resurrection. Invite some-one to come and enjoy this musi-cal.
