Continue to pray for North American Missions
Pray for LUIS & BEATRIZ SOTO in WEST VALLEY, UTAH
Born in Puerto Rico, Luis had a love for missions. He moved his
family to Utah, where Mormonism touches every part of the
culture, including the more than 300,000 Hispanic residents.
Most Hispanics work two or three jobs in West Valley. When Luis
sees hardworking men come to a weeknight church event, he
knows they are serious about the Lord and hold potential to become new planters.
“We need more planters to start more churches that can communicate truth,” says Luis. “In a place where
it seems like everyone is Mormon, it’s easy to feel alone. But I know our church, the people we’re
sending out and the many who support us through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering are part of
something bigger. One day very soon, we’re going to have Hispanic churches sharing the gospel all over
Utah.”
Pray for ROB & LISA WARREN in MADISON, WISCONSIN
Madison, Wisconsin is a college town—one of the most liberal in the nation. “There’s more than 40,000
college students and most are unreached by the gospel,” says Rob, “So many people have tried to start
churches here and failed. Maybe we should feel nervous about that, but, more than anything, we are
energized.”
Rob and Lisa love college kids because they exist in a season of life where they can question everything
and are often open to discussing spiritual issues. The family moved from Ames, Iowa to Madison to plant
Doxa Church in the fall of 2018.
“We couldn’t wait to get here and get started. The amazing thing about planting in a college community
is that we don’t just make converts, we make missionaries. Many who accept Jesus and see their lives
change in college, then graduate and share the good news to others in their workplaces and
neighborhoods.”
PLEASE Pray & Give!
Praying for God’s chosen servant to be our next Pastor:
Claim this promise as you pray for God’s chosen servant to lead us: “Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.” - Jeremiah 3:15
Praying for West Lynchburg Baptist Church:
Pray that church members abide in the love of Christ and love one another with the love of Christ. - John 15:1-8
Praying for the Pastor Search Team:
Pray for the team to not have their timeline but God’s, waiting on the Lord with patience and perseverance. - Romans 8:25, Psalm 27:14

A Dime a Dozen - 3rd book in The Million Dollar Mystery Series. (Christian fiction mystery)
Written by Mindy Starns Clark
“ ‘He would never leave us.’
Just like that, business investigator Callie Webber finds herself involved in the life of a young wife and mother whose husband has
disappeared...possible the victim of foul play.
‘I won’t go away until my husband comes back,’ Luisa said, her face threatening to crumble into tears once again. [ ]
‘Callie has come to the beautiful Smoky Mountains hoping to award a million-dollar grant to the charity set up in
her late husband’s honor. But in the search for a missing migrant worker, a body is discovered, which puts the grant on hold and her new romance with her mysterious boss in peril. Trusting in God, Callie forges steadily ahead through a mire
of clues that lead her deeper and deeper into danger.”
CHURCH HISTORY CORNER
Hi! Its me again your Librarian, but I am also the WLBC Historian. which I am very honored to be. Every Wednesday I will be adding something to the E-Bulletin about the history of the church. I
have learned so much just by reading the minutes. And that is where we are going to start today.
The 1st minutes were recorded on November 1, 1905 when the church was organized. You can see those minutes on the Church History Bulletin Board. Thank you for entrusting me to learn and
share the History of West Lynchburg.
