The Pastor Search Committee believes prayer is our best tool for filling the pulpit
with the exact man God has called to be our pastor.
So here are some daily prayer points for you to go by as you cover the pastor
search in prayer.
There will be cards at church for you to pick up as well, with the prayer
prompts to remind you to pray.
You can tape the card to your mirror, your dashboard, use them as a book
mark in your daily Bible reading, etc.
THANK YOU for your prayer support!
Week 10 Prayer Prompts

and decision making.

not only as we seek God’s will for a pastor, but also as we seek
God’s vision for His church.
Jeremiah 33:3
Praying for the Pastor Search Team:
Pray that the search committee makes wise use of their time during
meetings and that the Lord reveals His will for the future pastor.

1 John 2:15-16 Do not love the world
or anything in the world. If anyone
loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For every-thing in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes,
and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from
the world. - NIV

Serving, Laughing, Playing & Praying…Because WLBC Members Live Life With Hope
Deacon of the Week: Sam Love
Pray for the people of South Asia.
Book of the Week recommendation:
Love Takes Wing by Janette Oke - 7th Book in Series of 8 (Christian Fiction/Romance)
“As Belinda trains as a nurse for her older brother, Doctor Luke, and time goes by,
she sees those she’s grown up with getting married and settling into their own lives.
Belinda becomes restless. What had seemed exciting and fresh becomes dull and routine - the same people, the same work, the same surroundings, the same fellows she’s known since school days.
Belinda meets an elderly woman who needs nursing care and jumps at the invi-tation to go to Boston-a large, “civilized”
city with cultural opportunities she’s never even dreamed of in their little prairie town. But in spite of financial security, opportuni-ty for overseas travel and countless new
experiences, Belinda finds herself restless, lonely and empty inside.“
