Meet Carole Bloom Carole and her husband, Jack, were residents of Franklin. However, once Jack died, Carole began to feel ill and realized that she needed a more protected and safe living environment. Having heard about the Fountains of Franklin, Carole and her daughter, Susan, paid a visit to the wonderful community. After receiving a delightful tour and seeing the facility with all the charming residents, Carole knew that this was her new home. Everything was so warm and invitingly comfortable that Carole and her family did not even bother exploring other options. Carole says that she really is happy here and cannot imagine another facility equal to the Fountains. Carole was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She lived there with her parents and sister until she left for college in Connecticut, where she attended Connecticut College for Women. Not only was the school academically well suited for Carole but it was also close to many other schools such as Yale, Trinity, and the Coast Guard Academy. Carole was very interested in her social life and a friend from Yale asked Carole if she wanted to meet a handsome, 6’3” young man. At that time, Carole was at home recuperating from mono, so she said yes. e young couple was married three months later. e marriage lasted seventeen years but eventually ended in divorce. Carole was introduced to another man, Jack, who was in the coffee import business. Jack and Carole ended up getting married and were together for thirty-five years until Jack’s death. Carole loved being able to travel across Latin America with Jack for his job. She considers herself truly blessed with such a great marriage. Carole worked as a nurse for an orthodontist. When she was pregnant, her extreme morning sickness trumped her love of the job, and she left. She became a stay-at-home mom and never regretted her decision to leave the workforce. She loved raising her two daughters Elizabeth and Susan. Carole also has a passion for playing bridge. She started playing in college and has played ever since. Carole and her husband lived in many states, somehow bridge always accompanied them. Carole only stopped playing recently, when her brain thought it was enough. As far as dreams and goals are concerned, Carole is happy if her two daughters and four grandchildren, Katherine, William, Alex, and Annie are all happy and healthy. Meet Pamela EvansFountains of Franklin was blessed that Pamela was looking for a part-time job and ended up staying as one of our full-time second shift Resident Assistants. Pamela’s past jobs have been similar to her current position. She has been assisting and taking care of patients and residents for quite some time. She believes it’s her calling, and she absolutely loves what she does. Pamela was born in Waynesboro, Mississippi. She is the second youngest of five children and considers herself a daddy’s girl. Pamela is an amazing daughter and sister. She still takes care of her parents and siblings. She is no stranger to being a hard worker as she has been working since she was fifteen years old and living on her own since seventeen years of age. Pamela had her son at an early age, when she graduated high school, and has been working to provide an incredible life for her family.

Pamela is a mother of two wonderful children. She has a sixteen year old son, Tre’Shon, and a seven year old daughter, A’Mariyah. Her children mean absolutely everything to her. Pamela is also engaged to an amazing man, Frank, whom she adores and loves because he supports her in all of her dreams and passions. Spending time with her family and volunteering to work with the homeless are Pamela’s favorite activities to do while not working with all of our delightful residents. Fountains of Franklin fits into Pamela’s career plan by allowing her to assist and work with all kinds of different people and getting to know their daily routines and needs. She loves being able to communicate and help them on a daily basis. Pamela’s big heart and work ethic is much appreciated by both the staff and residents. Thank you Pamela!
